“It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for – and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing. It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool – for love – for your dreams – for the adventure of being alive.”

My Why

One summer I witnessed one of the most moving ceremonies I had ever seen. The officiant being the bride's dad spoke about how the material world will eventually crumble around them, but nothing would take their experiences they had created together. Those live on forever. Nothing else matters at the end of the day.

Sadly I'll admit that I didn't always see that. It's taken a lot of pain and wrong turns to understand the value of relationships. But nonetheless, being able to witness all these different relationships, and learn from my own mistakes has been so inspiring.

That "thing" between you and your partner is one of the most beautiful things this world has to offer. In my imagination I picture two humans standing next to each other and this indescribable array of colors, shapes, and patterns crossing back and forth. Idk. I'm weird sometimes.

I feel so incredibly lucky to have found this passion. I never woke up and told myself: "I'm going to be a wedding photographer." It took time and growing as an individual to understand the value of human connection, and to this day I'm still learning.

I'm not the same photographer I was when I started. This "job" means something much much bigger than me.

My Story

Instead of falling in love with sports at a young age, I fell in love with camping and making music. Shoutout to those who can do both.

Instead of pursuing my passion for photography out of high school, I explored the world of architecture and design. I'll never regret that, and I love that part of me.

I've met some amazing people in my life who have shown me beautiful things and I thank you all. I hope to give half as much to the world as you've given me.

Through life, photography has always been a part of me. When I realized I could be responsible for preserving your most precious artifact, I decided this was a good place for me.
